Marie...you never lost it! Age is an attitude! I'm 51 and still "feel" young...do I have wrinkles? Yes! Has my body changed with age? Yes! But, my inner confidence prevails over my outward appearance!

You're still attractive...believe it, have confidence in yourself, especially your inner spirit, and you will glow.

If you're concerned about your "outer" shell....work out! If you're concerned about your face, I highly recommend Estee Lauder...go get some samples at Macy's or the like....my skin is as soft and glowing as a baby's butt...wrinkling but soft!

FYI...don't stress on the number 42...celebrate all that you are and what you've accomplished by 42, and what you haven't even realized yet!

42 is that all you are still young!, but I unedrstand none of us can help the ageing process can we. Just remian presentable like any woman would dont go out the door with out just paying that tad of attention to yourself. Dress nicely appropriate for your figure and maturity. Go have your hair and nails done something to perk you up and give yourself a change. If you wear makeup keep it natrul soft pastles and a little something to brighten up the cheekbones a bit of shimmer perhaps.

Just look after yourself eat healthy (most the time we are only human after all), get regular exercise and go and live a bit. First feel good about yourself inside as that will also been seen on the outside to. Everyone should care for there apperance yes and it is great that you are making the effort but also attennd to your mind and soul, do something new that intrests you take up meditation or yoga perhaps and you never know you may just meet some new ppl on the way.

Good luck with it take care of yourself and find happiness in your life

Who ever told you that 42 was not attractive?

One of the things that I have found in getting older is that women my age are still attractive. Granted if you have spent your time eating bon-bons and smoking then chances are you have put more mileage on than you should have.

The most attractive women that I know watch what they eat, go for walks once or twice a day and smile.

Just remember, the thing about inner beauty is really true. If you see your self as attractive, then you probably are.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, true adoration is in the stomach. Strong liquor helps.

When I was a teenager I thought 30 was old. When I hit my mid 20's I stopped thinking about age when I looked at women. You only have a few years on me, but it really means nothing.

It's not your age, Even if you didn't take care of yourself you can be totally sexy. Just dress hot and diet and exercise for a while. You might need a bit of dentistry done, it's amazing what a new smile can do.

Change your hair. Do whatever, but don't think you're unattractive because you're old.

42 the answer to life the universe and everything.
Some of the most georgeous girls on earth today are in their forties. Elle Mcpherson, Kylie Minogue hey Olivia Newton John is even more than that and she's still georgeous.
The point is, be yourself, eat healthy be positive and happy and you WILL be attractive and pretty.
Those little lines that eventually come around the eyes (crows feet) can be made terribly sexy simply by smiling.

It helps if you can forget that you've lost it. If you really hate your looks, have a bit of a makeover. New haircut - let the stylist loose on you. New makeup - get a makeover in one of the big stores and treat yourself to a new outfit. If you feel good, you look good - and if you look good, you feel good. 42 is a lovely age to be. You've still got all your collagen, you still have energy to live life to the full - but you are old enough to be discerning. You've grown up. Enjoy it.

Well I am not 42 I am 25.... but I will give it a shot.

Firstly.. be a modern confident woman. Dress to your age. Dont try and be like mutton dressed as lamb, or dress like a grandma. Be fashionable, color your hair, wear flattering make up.... and simply be yourself.

Secondly..... You are probably attractive anyway.... don't let age make you feel unattractive.... alot of women in their 40s are very sexy.... you just need to find a style that suits your personality....

Marie, you are young, and that's the first thing you need to change, do not think you are old at such a young age! Hey, I am 57 and not bragging------went bicycling yesterday and received a few horn honks!

Take care of yourself physically, exercise---you will feel so great to wear smaller size and room to spare--be open to change......be willing to change your make-up and hair. And, Marie, most of all, keep your head up---like yourself, there is noting sexier than self-confidence---get a positive outlook. Develop your interests and look for involvement in good things.

You can get it back, just be open to change---but change for the good.

do you feel attractive and pretty? that's the first thing then other things will fall into place. Once you really feel good and pretty inside you won't need people to tell you what will make you look beautiful on the outside. trust me.
