(Psalms 30:5 KJV) For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

(Romans 5:3 KJV) And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

(Psalms 37:7 KJV) Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

(Matthew 7:7 KJV) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Depression is often inward thinking, and is eyes on self and not on the Lord. You can overcome depression in prayer. Missing your husband is normal though and I know what you are feeling with all of this. It's really hard. You have to give yourself time. Help with the finances I have discovered has been also answered with prayer and with giving to the church as in the bible it says what you give through the heart you will get back moreso. Direction in your life, just keep doing what you are doing until God opens a door for you. All things can be answered in prayer, if faithfully asked and with propoer motivation.
I am speaking from personal experience in my own spiritual growth and some of the same issues you have here. I will give some verses to look up for you... brb. Also, I will pray for you as well. Prayer is a wonderfully powerful thing. First I must confess my sins and then I will be filled with the spirit to have a direct connection with God. 1 John 1:9.

Read Psalms. Those beautiful poems will have in their number every thought you need to aid you in your pain and confusion. Then read the Gospel according to Luke.

And never forget, succor is only a thought away. Tell the Lord what you've told us. And ask for His help and a healthy dose of His strength to get you through these hurtful times.

May God the Father hold you snugly in His love, shelter you from harm, and heal your spirit. May God the Son hold you in His loving arms, speaking comfort to you whenever you hush and be still and listen. May God the Holy Spirit hold in His tender care, guiding you through your troubles and at the right time carry you on wings of eagles safely to the Lord's everlasting home.

If your problem is clinical depression, then use the gifts God has already given you, professional counselors! Seek one with similar faith who will be open to your needs in that area and go to him/her as often as necessary.

First, modify your life style; get rid of the extras, if there are any, nobody (here) can help you financially.
Now the Bible is all about " Faith," everything in it. But for your particular needs: "Willingness" to let go, and "Time" -Believe that one day you'll be able to smile again, and keep believing, it'll get easier every week. That's the way Pain works.

I wonder why your husband is away? To me, a functional life would be that one where married couples can live together and have families if they are spiritually ready.

Many husbands and or spouses are away for military reasons. When is that gonna stop? People need jobs. Guess we gravitate towards attempting to help our fellow man and putting food on the table for now and for later.

But for whatever reason your hubby has to be away, it should have resolution. There should be a way for mankind to resolve this and allow humans to survive and thrive their circumstance. Don't you agree?

So if you are a Bible thumper and you are searching for hope in today's life, one of my favorite passages that seems to offer the most hope in the Bible for future circumstance is John 14 12.

"Greater works, than these that I do, will they do, who come after me, because I go unto my Father!".

If your hero, if he is your hero, Jesus,... after all the circumstance of Ways of healing and sometimes special delivery of healing messages,........if he can envision ....that somewhere, someday, after his passing on into Heaven.... that some other people who discern him and see him in Heaven, a different being, like all Heavenly being, improved to PERFECTION, beyond all earthly ideas of infallibilness, can draw on that energy and image from that Heavenly place, with all those (Afterlife Beings and Mentors, including Jesus there, then you can be a participant in those Greater Works, and someday.... you won't have to be soo lonely and distraught, because our world will be a world where your husband will not have to leave you to defend the evils of this world WHICH WILL HAVE BEEN SOLVED!

Healing be unto you and yours and me and mine

Dianne, I will tell you what I have learned in your exact situation. You have apparently suffered a great loss through death or divorce. My sympathies either way. We have all gone through it and it is a horrible place to be for anyone.

You must get PROFESSIONAL counseling just now, not just spiritual.

If you were in a burning building would you just stand there and pray for divine guidance? No, you would go with the professional firefighter that knows what to do FOR YOU and then you can give thanks spiritually for his/her professionalism.

You will have to go eventually, and the sooner the better.

God bless you, and remember, this too shall pass, but don't try it alone; that never works.

Maybe this will give you some peace, and hope . A lot of people have read this and it really helped them a lot especially older people, the elderly, and sick. This happened 4 yrs ago and it's fresh in my mind as if I dreamed it last night, I'll never forget it, and when I went to write it down, I didn't mean for it to be a poem, but I guess had other idea's, I was just holding the pen anyway....

THE DREAM

I DREAMED ONE NIGHT TWO ANGELS CAME TO MY BED. THEY TOOK ME TO HEAVEN I FELT I HAD NOTHING
TO DREAD. WE STOOD IN FRONT OF A BIG WHITE GATE. IT OPENED SLOWLY AS WE STOOD IN WAIT.
MANY CLOUDS BILLOWED AND SWIRLED ABOUT US AS I STOOD IN AWE OF THE SIGHTS AND SOUNDS THAT
SURROUNDED US. WHAT I SAW WORDS COULD NOT EXPRESS, I WANTED TO STAY AT THIS BEAUTIFUL ADDRESS.
THE ANGELS ALLOWED ME TO LOOK INSIDE, THE BEAUTY THE MAJESTY, MADE ME CRY.
"IT'S TRUE, IT'S ALL TRUE, I KNOW THAT IT'S TRUE" I HEARD MYSELF CRY, AS TEARS RAN STREAMING
FROM MY EYES.
I KNEW WHAT I SAW WAS NOT OF THIS EARTH,THIS CREATION WAS FOR THOSE OF THE NEW BIRTH. THE
POWER, THE BEAUTY, THE SIGHT OF IT ALL WAS SO STRONG,THAT THE ANGELS SHUT THE GATES QUICKLY
TO MY NEW HOME. "IT'S NOT YOUR TIME," I HEARD THEM SAY, " WE JUST WANTED YOU TO SEE WHAT WAS
ON THE WAY," THEY SAID "YOU WILL NOT REMEMBER WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN INSIDE THE GATE, BUT YOU WILL REMEMBER WHERE
YOU HAVE BEEN.YOU MUST TELL OTHERS ABOUT THIS DREAM. THAT GOD'S WORD IS TRUE. IT'S THE REAL THING.
GOD HAS LET YOU SEE WHAT IS YOUR REWARD IF YOU WORSHIP, LOVE HIM, AND KEEP HIS WORD."
WE ALL NEED TO REALIZE THAT IT'S REALLY TRUE. WE NEED TO GET THE LOST ONES IN IF IT'S ALL THAT WE
DO. WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME, THE END IS NEAR, AND YES, IF YOU ARE LOST YOU HAVE EVERYTHING TO FEAR.
CALL ON JESUS NOW, SO YOU CAN GO TO AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT I SAW AND YOU'LL BE EXCITED TOO.
I'LL SOON BE IN MY NEW HOME,PASS THE BIG WHITE GATES. DON'T YOU WANT TO GO THERE TOO? I JUST CAN'T
WAIT!!!!

I REALLY DREAMED THIS DREAM JUST AS IT IS WRITTEN. I FEEL IT WAS INSPIRED BY GOD AND HE GUIDED MY
THOUGHTS AND MY HAND IN PUTTING THIS TOGETHER.

I AM GIVING THIS TO YOU BECAUSE I LOVE YOU AND GOD HAS DIRECTED ME TO DO SO.
I HOPE THIS MESSAGE WILL HELP YOU TO MAKE THE BIGGEST DECISION OF YOUR LIFE
TO ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOR AND TO SERVE HIM. SO YOU, ONE DAY
WILL STAND AT THE BIG WHITE GATE AND BE INVITED IN FOR ETERNITY

Pray all you want, and ask for prayer all you want... but please also take real action to help yourself.

Make an appointment to see a psychiatrist. Depression is a treatable condition, and you don't have to live with it.

If you have issues to work through, a counselor will also help.
