Hmm. Well, to be physically attracted, you must have thoughts of physical attraction... otherwise known as lust.
I do believe Jesus said that lustful thoughts and lustful actions were one in the same.
Matt 5:28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
So much for the apologist rhetoric on this subject.

Look let`s nail this often trumpeted chestnut, Christians are bound by the word of God and cannot be Christian if they change the laws, bend the rules or make compromises with the world.
God created man and woman to populate the Earth and this is a basic fact of Christian faith, it cannot be changed any other way for the believer, so why do people who do not love or obey Gods law insist on looking for answers to this question from Christians that cannot be given other than the reality of Gods commandments.
There are too opposing camps and I suppose their always will be, the Atheist/Evolutionist does not support the Bible and so will champion the cause of homosexuality, the Christian can not and should not, I as a Catholic will never give my agreement to the act of homosexuality and that is a life principle that will not ever change, it is one thing to be liberal and another to be disobedient.
I have a soul to save and this means I have to obey the revealed will of God to the best of my ability, if others do not then that is their own responsibility.

Don't have sex with the same sex .
Don't have sex with the opposite sex outside marriage.
As imperfect humans we all have incorrect desires & traits, whatever they may be. Some are genetic, some are aquired. But we don't have to practice those desires.
A True Christian will do his utmost to uphold Christs teachings & Christian standards. Serious sin can be forgiven, but real effort has to be made not to commit them.

You may not actually do the sex act with another homosexual, but if it is in your heart, then you are as guilty as doing it, it shows that you carry that spirit of satan in order to feel this way. So NO you will not go to heaven, But also you can be forgiven & turn away from that feeling, The bible says that men will burn or have desired for men to men in the last days.

In the writings, God says to us in different places that the homosexual is not accepted. Also it says to us, that other sins that are similar to the homosexualidad, and all people that does the bad things, God will destroy it. Meanwhile, additional, God mentions to us that we are dust, that always we sinned. If we are acting as our Heart indicates to us, then it is a sin, however, if we remained with the sin in our Heart and we did not act as our sinful body this requesting to do, really we did not sin absolutely. If these married and you wish to be with a man, you have to check yourself, homosexual is not not normal. God create nonhomosexual, man and woman. The homosexuals are something abnormal in the society, since God in the past destroyed to all those that do in opposition to their word.

Correct. You are only homosexual if you act on your desires. The same is true for an angry person that refrains from murder. He isnt a murderer unless he does the deed.
At the resurrection, we will be given new bodies that dont succomb to mortal sins.

According to holy scriptures, sin is not something to do with your daily activities . The moment it is conceived in your mind ,it is already considered as sin.
That`s why lot of stress had been given on the pure mind and soul in the Holy Bible. The moral of the lesson is mind act as a precursor for every sin.(according to the Holy Bible).

Childhood abuses and environments can create propensities for any sin. Any one can have the cravings of their sinful nature vie for the gratification to sin but being tempted is not the same as sinning. Feeding the temptation is not feeding your spirit but your flesh and will lead you to sin.
So you can be a Christian and wrestle with all types of temptations. That's why their is hope for homosexuals who want to leave their progressive lifestyle as Christ draws them out of it to a new life that no longer conforms to the standards of this world and is renewed every morning.

People who define themselves on their "sexual orientation" have really missed the boat. Making sex your god is a form of idolatry.
