i need help with game ideas for a party?

my school is a jr high and we have an assembly each quarter. the theme is mardi gras and we need help with games. some cool fun games that are between 7th and 8th grade.

We did some at a youth conference we did.....

1. ok you separate the group in guys and girls..... you have to assign one guy and one girl to give out number..... they have to be even.... for example 20 girls and 20 guys..... each one gets a number 1-20... and when you count to three..... they are suppose to go and find their partner.... as soon as they find each other they have to lower down and the last couple goes out.... and so on....

2. again... 2 groups..... mx its ok but you have to get 2 color of balloons.... one color of balloon for each group..... they have to tape it or with a string put it in their feet.... the group that is left with more balloons in their feet win.

3. you can also make an eating contest.....
who ever eats more hotdogs.... or pizza..... or drinks a coke faster..... for this one you can actually have consequences.... like shaving cream pie!

4. musical chairs...... fruit salad... ech one gets a fruit and tries to get a spot in a chair.... one chair goes out each round...

5. The king or queen wants....divide in two groups .... assign a leader and when the king or queen asks for a wallet or a student id or a movie ticket.... their team has to help him get all the stuff that is on the list..... the first ones to give it to the queen or king gets a point....
