Last night I had a very vivid dream. I went to the kitchen to get something to eat, and someone had replaced all of my food with non-vegan food. In particular, there were several different kinds of vanilla wafers. I thought "cool, I'll have some nilla wafers!" and I got to reading the labels. They all had milk and/or egg products. The most absurd had "teardrop milk" (which was described on the box as "drops of milk that fell from other bags of milk". Such a small amount of milk, but I couldn't eat them because they weren't vegan. ><
When I woke up I was craving some fcking vanilla wafers, knowing I can't eat them!
Have any of you had nightmares like these?

I find my dreams tend to reflect what I had been doing or thinking about during the day, but returned in a somewhat symbolic form (like right after being chewed out by an angry person, I might dream about being eaten by a shark.) I have only had two "vegan" dreams in my entire time of being vegan, and one was that my bean burrito accidentally had sour cream in it and I freaked out, even though I would never freak out about that in real life. In another, some kids were talking about how sad it was that they had to eat their pet pig, but they believed they had to eat meat or they would die. Both of these occurred in the same week... a week that I had gotten a new job, and had been bugged by my co-workers every day, all day long about what I ate for lunch (including one who would say variations of "I wish I were vegetarian, but you know, you have to eat meat or you will DIE" about once every 2 hours). So I think my first dream was caused from me being annoyed at the harassment about my lunch (which in the dream, transfered to me being annoyed AT my lunch), and in the second, the kids represented my wishful co-worker.
I would interpret your dream as being that you are feeling overwhelmed by detail, frustrated by denying yourself things you previously enjoyed, or annoyed at foods that are unvegan due to one minor detail. You could also simply just be thinking about your veganism too much. Try to figure out the source of the frustration, find a solution, and nightmares usually go away.

When I was doing the master cleanser over the summer (it's a fast fyi) I would have dreams every night about stuffing my face and eating everything in sight, and when i woke up i was in a huge panic thinking i had broke my fast. I hardly got any sleep because i actually felt like i was eating, my mouth even watered.

I've had meat nightmares & have always been sooo happy when I wake up & see that it wasn't real.
In these dreams, I suddenly realize I've eaten meat, usually b/c someone tricked me into it . Most of the time, it doesn't resemble meat until I've had a bite or 2, then it morphs.
My SO has these types of dreams too, as does @ least one other vegetarian that I know well.

I actually do have nightmares like that.
I have alot of nightmares that I'm eating a turkey sandwich, and cheese sandwiches because someone is forcing me, and I'm crying my eyes out.
I thought it was absolutely ridiculous.... But... now I know some people do have nightmares about it.

I had a recent nightmare where a friend of mine was slaughtering chickens in front of me and forcing me to drink the fountains of blood gushing out.

yea i dream of a thing called concentrated beef juice, it takes 10lb of beef and boil it down to 1 oz of juice, so eating 1 oz of it, is like eating a whole cow, and i saw the factory that makes the beef juice, i woke up in time before the smell got to me, it was awful, the worst part? the beef juice is real.
