i don't think you know what you're talking about. and if you go around just labeling all vegetarians as "uncool" then they're gonna give you a thumbs down. so yea. that's why.
i'm vegetarian and it's not like i think all non-vegetarians are morally corrupt or anything. it's just a personal choice because i have certain beliefs. so yea i would prefer if other people didn't eat meat, but i'm not gonna throw tomatoes at them or anything. most of my friends eat meat.
so don't make blanket statements about people, kay? i may think that you're an idiot, but i'm not going to post a question that says: why are all meat-eaters idiots?

Why do some people generalise? I've never given anyone the thumbs down, and whether I'm cool or uncool is of no interest to me. I guess some find it difficult when they are using a forum which is intended for like-minded people, to find that others are using that forum for other reasons, including being unpleasant. Have a happy life, whatever you choose to eat. xx

I only give thumbs down to answers I think suck. Some meat eaters ask insightful questions here that show genuine curiosity... no thumbs down for them. Some meat eaters give honest, thoughtful, respectful answers... no thumbs down for them either. However the ones who come here to ask "questions" or give "answers" that serve only to insult or harass vegetarians, well they get the thunbs down. People like you who lump us all together so you can label us stupid, or hypocritical or "SO uncool" are not here to do anything but waste people's time and you'll get my thumbs down every time for that.

Vegetarians are saving innocent animals' lives every single day. they contribute significantly less to the world's global warming and carbon emissions by eating substantially more greens and grains.
If they are always giving the thumbs down to non-vegetarians, it is because they are unaware of all the repercussions of eating meat.

I don't know what vegetarians you know, but I happen to know 3 of them & they are all pretty nice! They don't judge me because I happen to eat meat. Some people however, feel that because you eat meat (animals), you are a killer. If you happen to know any vegetarians, just ask them why they are that way!

Why do animal welfare/rights activists get TD'd in the hunting section?
Why do anti-gay types get TD'd in the LGBT section?
Why do Luddites get TD'd in the computer section?
Why do communists get TD'd in the business section?
Why do rappers get TD'd in the country music section?
Why do C/W fans get TD'd in the rap music section?
Get the idea? When you go into a section that disagrees with your interests you most likely ARE going to collect downward thumbs. Yahoo gave us this section so that we could discuss our vegetarian interests in peace, NOT so that we could be torn to pieces by meatie trolls!
You're a cow, it seems to me you'd be on OUR side and not taking up for the folks that want to blast your brains out, slash your throat, drain your blood, dissect your corpse and eat it!

When they answer questions in the V&V section about food with "meat" and other animal products, it's a BAD answer, helloooo. I mean, if someone asks in the V&V section about ideas for dinner, and you say chicken, do you really think people are going to like that response? Come on!

What are u talkin bout because they are concience about what they put in their body are you a dee- dee- dee, I mean I eat meat because I choose to but does it make us cool for the support of killing animals ?? that is gay, that makes them not cool dur, no really? U do the math don't put all vegans in the catagorie of whom u are making this reference to.
