when I drink water it settles to around 70-75

Mine is always around 85-90, but that's normal for me. We're all slightly different.

But if you don't feel quite right, you should see your GP. I can guarantee though that the more you worry about it, the more it will happen.

Hi, This is not medical advice so if you are worried, you should see your GP for an check up .
They say a females max heart rate should not exceed 220 minus there age when exercising, according to fitness mag.
So i'd say at 80/90 would be perfectly normal but if your worried and need advice, y can call NHS Direct and I'm sure they'd help.

If you are dehydrated, your heart rate can go up because your blood is thicker and your heart has a harder time pumping it. Make sure you stay well hydrated to avoid this. Also try eating a banana. Sometimes low potassium levels can cause your heart to pound. If you still don't feel right, there is no harm in going to the doctor to find out what is wrong.

you do not say what you were doing at the time many things can affect HR activity stress/anxiety infection anaemia medications the list goes on the only way to get a truly resting HR is to take it on first waking before you do anything even stretching or turning off alarm clock will elevate reading 60-80 bpm average but can be lower or higher due to cardiovascular fitness levels etc as always if still concerned talk to health professional

This is a very high pulse rate ..The norm is 70/75 ..My pulse rate is 58/60 but then im an ex athlete and very fit
Yours TOOOOOO high and you should get a check-up from your GP

When you are thirsty and anxious i could be more. If you are still concerned, you should see a doctor. Why do you need to measure your heart rate?

maybe your not drinking enough water.however if your worried about it see a doctor
