dollarama florescent light bulbs?

if i get dollarama florescent light bulbs which cost a 1$ is that

okay? or are are they not even worth it? compard to the light

bulbs you get at walmart? or are they the same?

my parents dont like to spend alot
of money so when i ask for florescent light bulbs they say its expensive.

Hard to say. Like most cheap things, they'll work but they may not last long.

I honestly don't know--but you can get good florescent light bulbs for about $10 for a pack of six at stores like Lowe's or Home Depot.

Point out to your parents that these bulbs last 3-4 times as long--so while they are more expensive to start with--they are cheaper in the long run. And you get savings on your utility bils on top of that. If they don't switch to theenergy efficient bulbs, they are simply costing themselves money in the long run.

One dollar is very cheap. I'm surprised you bought a fluorescent bulb for only $1. I paid about $5-$10 each for my fluorescent light bulbs. It also depends what kind you buy. The higher the wattage, the higher the price. Oh, and convince your parents into saying that if they want to save money on their electric bill, then they'd better buy fluorescent bulbs. Just one CFL can save you $30 a year. Just imagine if you had every incandescent bulb replaced with a fluorescent bulb.

$1 is definitely not expensive. I pay from $15-16 per light bulb, but they are the energy saving kind & they last for years.

It does not matter where you buy them or how much they cost. If it is a quality brand it will be OK. If it is a no name brand it may or may not be OK. Buy a couple and try them. Then decide for yourself if they work well.
