Question

Is there a scholarship for it? I think I heard something about one, but I can't find anything on it.

Does anyone know?

Thanks, but I don't think that information is quite what I was looking for. I greatly appreciate the resources (I'll probably use them soon), really, I do.

However, I wanted to know if there was one -specifically- for it. When my teacher first told me about it, I believe she said there was a scholarship, and I was curious to see if I was hearing things or if it existed.

If I don't get any better answers, I can tell you for sure that I'll pick yours.

There is possibly one, but I know there are programs out there for students with excellent grades from most states. Also, some colleges or universities might offer some scholarships based on your participation. I will include some free resources to locate college scholarships.

First, your high school guidance office has a list of local scholarships and state college grants and scholarships available. The local scholarships tend to be easier to get compared to the national ones.

Second, the local public library has a book listing college scholarships with some not even listed on the web.

Third, check with the perspective schools' financial aid websites. They tend to list any scholarships they award there.

Finally, join several free membership scholarship search websites. It includes filling out a profile, and the results are geared toward how you completed the profile. Most of these scholarships are national in nature. There is a scholarship for almost anything out there.
