Its about $8,000.00 to $10,000.00 depending on where you live... But that is about the average cost for a good party...

DJ - $300
Dress - $150
Club - $2500
Food Beverage - $ 1200 (pasta, pizza and soda - cash alcohol bar for adults - usually includes serves and is arranged by the club)
Invitations - $100 (80 invites + postage)
Decorations
- centerpieces: $ 20 ea x 16 tables = $320
- Balloons: $1 each for regular $3-5 for Mylar - $125
- streamers and misc - $75
Total estimate including some extra for misc. - $5000

It really depends where you live and how fancy you're going with it. I've known of Sweet 16's that ranged from $3500 to $25,000 (no joke, but I live in NYC).
