hair folicals trap sweat and odors so sometimes you still smell even though you have washed, i went thru somthing similer to this a while back, and when i talked to my dr she recomneded using something called a peri wash in between bathing and its hypoallergenic and safe to use on sensative skin, i used this and it stopped the odor in its tracks. it is avalable at the pharmacy and is not expensive.

are you a dibetic? cause high blood sugars can secreat a smell that manifests itself in the vagainal areas.

There is probably nothing wrong with you - one type of sweat gland found in the armpits and genital areas produces strong smells. These are called apocrine glands. The odor from apocrine glands is caused partly by excretions from the body and partly from the type of bacteria that thrive on the excretions. There are five ways to control odor: (1) mask it with another scent; (2) keep bacteria from growing (medicated powders, deodorants, or medicated wipes - Dickinson's Cleansing Astringent Towelettes remove the excretions that bacteria need to survive); (3) avoid foods that contribute to the scent - chemicals in onions, garlic and certain spices get excreted through sweat glands; (4) clear out the sweat glands with regular saunas, steam baths, highly aerobic exercise, or soaks in a hot bath; and (5) reduce moisture in the apocrine area - Carefree has panty liners for this purpose.

In some people odors are abnormally strong or offensive - this condition is called bromhidrosis, unfortunately, this condition is not always easy to treat.

This is could a skin problem in that area.
You can use something like vagasil cream for women.
You could have blocked skin pores, or problem with certain soaps.
How often do you change you underwear. Do you sweat a lot. Also what do you eat, or do your drink alcohol, or smoke. As your skin can be sensitive it that area . As your body's weakest points are often what get effected by problems.

First off, make sure you are using cotton only underwear. Try using a different soap, a more gentle one as well.

pubic hair is there for a reason, to draw sweat away from the skin...since you shave, when you sweat, nothing is helping dry the area out, so bacteria builds up, just like armpits.....

omg another freaky question. Take a damn bath and wash that sucker till she sparkles! The, guess what, you won't stink. But here is the kicker. You have to wash it everyday. Even twice a day is great!
