he has foot that is crooked from football injury 37 years ago. It was set wrong . he has pain alot in foot and now his back and lower parts are also. he was rejected from army because of his foot also. he works in retail and on his feet all day. meat management is all he has ever worked at. he had a mir and now epideral coridzone in back , didnt help, on pain and mussel relaxers.

he probably cannot get disability, but he can retrain, he should check with his employment securities department, I did, and they sent me back to college to get a new degree in a field that I could work it because it did not require being on my feet all the time.

You don't know for certain unless he applies. However, he must have a physician who is willing to attest to the fact he is disabled.

However, most disability claims based on pain are not approved because it is difficult to "prove" pain and many people have taken advantage of disability (social security and insurance) with regards to pain so it has negatively effected those with real medical problems.

he may not qualify for a disability benefit but has he ever checked with doctors about the feasibility of re-breaking the foot--surgically..and re setting it. i know it has been done before...

He would have to get all his injuries documented by a doctor and then you need to apply for ssi. They will be the final determination if he is eligible.

he worked he paid his taxes he should but ok good old USA you just always have to be different
