your blood is low in your kidneys ? What can happen? What can be done to fix it? How can your blood run low in one area of your body? My mother had a stroke 2 years ago, she had another stroke about 3 or 4 months ago, I know having a stroke can cause your kidneys to fail, but what does this mean? the doctor told her yesterday that she her blood is low in her kidneys.

I think most probably there is a temporary low perfusion of kidney, secondary to heart problem, long standing cases of kidneys parenchmya is damged and also the glomulari are damaged.
I hope you have ruled out CCF and transient kidney shut down.
Pl check spell.

It sounds as if the blood flow to the kidneys is being obstructed( possibly by clots?) Has your mother been tested for clotting disorders? Is she on Anticoagulants? Something seems to be causing problems in your Mom and needs to be checked out further for clotting problems. I have a clotting disease and my Mother has a different one. I am a multiple stroke survivor.http://www-admin.med.uiuc.edu/hematology/Patient%20Resources.htm
