They are now re-cycling thier rubbish into fuel.
A few points worth noting.
Why on earth does the smallest MCDs generate 100 tons of rubbish every year - isn't that a tad irresponsible
Why do so many people throw away half thier meal at MCDs
Why can they not see the hypocrisy of pretending to be concerned about the environment and yet support an industry that is responsible the greatest part of agricultural global carbon dioxide output.
By the way, thier whole recycle as fuel effort will power 50 houses.
Here is the real story:

William, the "50 houes" quote is directly from a MCDs spokeman n the news.
The agri pollution quote is directly from DEFRA, the UK goverment department controlling agriculture

MCDs is such a big, evil corporation. After 'super-size me' they claimed they sold healthy food (!), lately I've been bombarded with the magazine adverts about the family who visit the MCDs farm to find happy cattle roaming through acres of land with their calfs and are kept by a guy who farms them as a hobby and really cares about his cows(!) and now they're recycling rubbish to make fuel(!!) That sounds like the Docs futuristic car in Back to the Future. I just don't buy it, man. Best thing anyone can do for the environment is avoid MCDs in the first place and eat food that doesn't come in tons of packaging. Not using the packaging in the first place is far better than recycling it.

Ris Low unquestionably has some exposure stunts to drag off. Jokes aside, the radio station administration blokes could asked themselves heavily - has she have been given what it takes to be a radio DJ? If the respond is "particular", then bypass forward and signed her on. that is not any longer a lot the "Singlish" or "Engrish" accents that attracts the team. Can she incredibly communicate objectively and meaningfully any subject rely with radio listeners? If the radio station merely needs some exposure (stable or undesirable), then they even have it. I doubt Ris herself might proceed to exist long as a radio DJ judging by the comments i've got study so a good distance. stable good fortune to the two ninety 8.7 and Ris Low.

McDonald's is hardly an environmentally friendly corporation. First, their products are centered around factory farmed beef, which is one of the worst environmental offenders of our time. Plus they are promoting an extremely unhealthy lifestyle full of saturated and trans fats, sodium, highly refined carbohydrates, and little to no fruits and veggies. Not to mention the massive portion sizes. Just read Fast Food Nation, and you'll never want to support a fast food restaurant again. Not to mention even their fries have beef tallow in them. Fast food blows on all levels.

As long as there are fat people, there will always be McDonalds. Lose weight, exercise, love God, quit eating junk, and turn off the TV. That will save lots of energy. We all need to make a personal committment to that.

Their are many points of view on a topic. i.e. Is there global warming or not, do airplanes harm the ozone layer, etc. Mickey D's decision to recycle to make fuel is a great idea. But are you sure of your numbers? Vegsoc.org sounds like a one sided opinion. Have you gone to Mickey D's site and heard there side of the issue? Check other sites. Never make a decision based on one source.

If that isn't enough for most people, watch the documentary "Super size me". It got us off of McDonald's forever!

I think that every thing anyone does to recycle waste helps. You don't really think McDonals is going to go vegetarian do you? Their business wouldn't last - people want meat.
BTW, talk about funny. I had to laugh at this statement on the website you referenced:
"Meat is now the single largest source of animal protein in all affluent nations"
:)
