Oregon Flower, to give the answer you gave you must be a real bad person! Maybe you do need a savior.

Wrong question. You should ask the first question, "What is sin?". Then go from there. It is depressing that it comes down to fear-based belief that we should do what some Deity tells us, under threat of destruction, damnation, etc. from that Deity, who supposedly tells us we have free will yet punishes us if we use it? The concept of "sin" is based on fear and control within a Judeo-Christian pretext and it has nothing to do with true morality and ethics. Better to move beyond it into spirituality at the personal level.

Mt 5:21 “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell

Gal 5:19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, r impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Col 3:5 Put to death, b therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming

If God did not have mercy on us ( not all of us) we would/will face the full wrath of God.

God would flood the earth again to wash away the sinners.

If God created us, these sinners, then he is ultimately responsible for us, and the sins we commit. Just like a parent is responsible for anything that a child does.

People that say unnecessary things - like the first answer - would be lost instantly and eternally in Hell; therefore, the Transformer guy should thank Him, not insult Him.
