I had a mocha frapuccino 1.5 hrs before I had my blood test. Could it possibly elevate my triglyceride count?

I'm 30 y/o and I'm a bit worried. Both my parents has a family history of Diabetes. Could the elevated triglyceride count be on my being out of shape and none dieting, or could the mocha frapuccino be a factor of the elevated triglyceride. It was actuall almost 600 mg/dL.

Thanks guys!

I'm sorry, but you CAN NOT BLAME the mocha frapuccino for the EXTREMELY HIGH triglycerides. You have 'high cholesterol, but it can't be 'read accurately' because your triglycerides are way too hign. You need to be put on 'medication' to get your triglycerides and your cholesterol down. You also need to not drink Mocha Frapuccinos right before they take a 'fasting blood test.' You MAY 'drink coffee' before such a test but ONLY 'unsweetened black coffee' or 'unsweetened black tea.'
You also need to be on a 'good diet' and a 'good exercise plan' ... and don't blame your frapuccino ... BLAME YOURSELF for this BAD TEST GRADE you got. YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR WAYS OR YOU WILL HAVE A HEART ATTACK and you also could get Diabetes!

Triglycerides are the stored form of fat in your body. The drink did not affect the number. Physical activity and diet affect your triglycerides. Normal ranges are below 150 mg/dL. Anything above 200 mg/dL is too high.

However, your triglycerides are connected to your cholesterol, not diabetes. Did your blood test show a blood glucose level?

This program http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=549 helped me to improve my quality of life as a diabetic. The system asserts that it's able to reverse diabetes in as short as 3 weeks. I still think that diabetes is a chronic disease and can't be reversed but I really liked the book. It helped me watching everything related to my diabetes under a different perspective. That's why I recommend it.
