The UK version does have butter fat and a little milk in it. Pretty sure this was the case 6 months ago.

I think Green and Black is the most popular vegan dark chocolate.

A lot of conventional companies feel compelled to put dairy in the dark chocolate, and I cannot see why.

There are brands of dark chocolate that don't do that. I believe Green & Blacks DARK chocolate varieties are all vegan, but do read the label.

all chocolate contains milk. it is impossible to make it otherwise. I think it would be great if they could start to make it with soy milk or something, instead, though.

you will have to read the label. the make up of the bars very by variety and the country you are in

All I know is that it is GREAT!!! One of my vices that makes me glad I'm into well-balanced, moderate diets, exercise and meditation rather than extremes ... well maybe with the exception of chocolate.
