There is no such disease. To have a negative level of a hormone isn't possible.

If you mean low level of insulin, that would mean that the insulin producing islets on the pancreas aren't working properly. That could be a result of pancreatitis, the beginning of type one diabetes, or a pancreas that got worn out from overproducing insulin as might be the case of a type two that doesn't manage themself properly.

There is no such thing as a negative insulin level that I've ever heard of. You could be insulin insufficient or have low insulin levels. As best I can figure rigor mortise would set in if you had a negative insulin level.

you can't really have a negative insulin level...you can have NO insulin, but if you have negative, you would be in a coma...you need insulin for your body to function...diabetes, can be due to insulin resistance, but there is still insulin there, it's just not being used...stress effects your insulin level and makes it fluctuate as well...there are many things that effect your insulin levels all during the day and night...hormones work while we sleep and can make the insulin levels rise and fall at will...

diabetes. you have no insulin being produced by the beta cells of the pancreas. insulin regulates your blood sugar. so people with no insulin (type 1 diabetes) or with not enough because of their extra fat cells overcompensating (type 2) you need to inject insulin subcutaneously. glucagon is the opposite of insulin basically, so normal people have this constant regulation of insulin and glucagon every time their blood glucose (sugar) spikes or decreases.
