Dont panic. You need to see a doctor right away. Stay calm. I go thru the same thing even though I have had a triple bypass and 2 more strokes. I am diabetic and it comes with the disease unfortunatly. The doctors can prescribe a beta blocker pill that helps the heart from skipping beats and fluttering to keep back up. It is called heart palpitation. BUT YOU MUST GO SEE A DOCTOR. specially if you are haveing any pain or pressure in your jaw.

OK first of all, if you do, see your doctor!!!! I have supervetricular tachacardia. I am only 30 years old and my heart rate does not control itself, I also have times when my heart pounds so hard that if I was sitting in a rocking chair, the rocking chair would move to the beat of my heart. On top of that there are times my heart stops beating, usually only for a couple of beats.

A heart flutter is not a good thing and it can cause major problems. But there are very good effective treatments that your doctor can help you discover. You may have to try several different treatments untill you find the one that works for you (being that everyone is slightly different).

SEE YOUR DOCTOR!!!!!! I hope that you will find what works for you soon. Good luck.

I've only had a very mild flutter, but sometimes for seemingly no reason my heart thumps hard and I can actually see my chest moving out and in again. I have no reason to suspect that there is anything wrong, but now you've highlighted the issue, perhaps someone can let both us know if this is something to be worried about?!!!

It's atrial fibrillation. See a doctor about treatment. If untreated, it can cause a stroke.
