i like doing push ups but i think my arm isnt that strong enough, i can only do like 15 counts and cant do it again, my arm would shake, plus i do push ups with a chair, how can i improve my push ups and do it more?
also, id like to know a good work out for chest, chest work out for a lady :), that would perk my chest, u know what i mean.. :)

what you have to do is do your 15 than rest do 15 again than rest point being shoot for 5 sets of 15 a day and you will get use to the 15 and than start adding + 1 a week to you get to your desire ... most military and police would like you to be able to do at least 50 none stop

I applaud you for what you are doing. I am not sure what you mean by using a chair, but if you are using the chair as a brace to support your hands, try doing regular pushups on the floor. On the other hand, if you are putting your feet up on the chair and doing the pushups, that is really good. To build up your strength you, after you do all the pushups you can, get into the pushup position and slowly lower yourself to the floor. Repeat this as many times as you can. It will further strengthen your pectoralis and shoulder muscles. You can also strengthen your arms (triceps on the back) by putting your feet on a chair and grasping the seat of another chair behind you and doing dips, sort of a reverse pushup. And like one of the others said, rest between sets and do another set of pushups. Also try just doing them every other day because your muscles need time to recover from strenuous exercise.
