HPV can be spread even if a condom is used. HPV (as well as herpes) are DIRECT skin to skin contact viruses. So, even if a guy wears a condom it's only covering his penis and not his entire genital area. Just the rubbing back and forth of the genital skin during foreplay or sex is enough to spread HPV.

I personally had protected sex with a guy ONE time and contracted both HPV and genital herpes, so it can happen! All it takes is one time! Good luck!

Emedicine says the chance is at about 65% that you will acquire HPV with your first sexual experience with some one who has an active virus. HPV enters the skin so soap and water would not rinse the virus off.

Sadly you may never know you carry the virus men may never show a sign and there is no FDA approve HPV test for the male.

All this said you should inform future sex partners that you may have the virus.

i sorta looked around for an answer thats better than yes or no but the chances are high i read alot of stories of people getting hpv from unprotected sex one time

this site should help:
http://cme.asccp.org/faq/histHPV.cfm

best of luck

oh yes, i also came across a funny one that says to wash yourself with listerine i dont know if that works or not, but the guy says "dont be afraid to pour some down the tube" lol

one last thing! hpv is a STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections) not an STD(Sexually Transmitted Disease)

If you get unsafe sex 100 times with her, your chance to get HPV is 1%.
But don't know on which sex you'll get that 1% chance.

I really serious about this. I get it from sex education a week ago.

The chances are pretty good if you didn't use a condom. Go get tested now and then again in 6 months or sooner if your doc recommends it.

You can get any STD from one sexual encounter. You should get tested, and next time use a condom.

there is a chance of you getting it. if you go test it will not appear on the test because there is not hpv test for man, only women could know if they have it. the only way of you to know if you have it its if you get genital warts which its in some types of the virus.

Chances are excellent if you didn't use any protection. Where was your mind that day? Don't do that again and get tested every six months for two years.
