Bike won't help you to that extent, as compared to treadmill.
You better do walking (don't Jog), as much as you can.
Start slowly don't fatigue yourself.
Increase one minute time daily in 2 months times you will be tuned to 60 minutes times or more. Besides walking involves the whole body, but bike only of lower portion.
Take low cholestrol diet and salt, and avoid risk factors.

I think your best bet is to ask your doctor what is good for you. If you have high blood pressure, you don't want to over do it, ya know? You can just call his office and ask a nurse.
