I work with a old man who is just a jerk and well He smokes 2 packs a day while he is at work I have to switch with him and when I get to work I spray some lysol Air freshner and open all the doors and windows for about 10- 15 mins But I am currently pregnant he doesn't really seem to care
what can I do?
I am afraid I may have to quit my job I think that my babies health is more important than money!!
I am confused and just sick to death of switching with him and dealing with the SMOKE how or what can I do to get rid of the smoke fast with out harming my baby?

If you can't get him to go smoke outside the building then quit that job. You don't need to be going through this.

First, try speaking with your boss to see if she/he can intervene and stop the smoking - especially inside the workplace! I don't know of any places that allow smoking inside except for maybe, like bars, or something. Explain that you feel your health & the health of your baby is in jeopardy. But once you speak to the boss & there's no action taken, then I would consider quitting.

PS- have you spoken to the smoker? Does he know you're pregnant?

First of all if you are working for a good company he is not supposed to smoke there anyways. Give your boss a complain: Your not allowed to smoke in public. Keep in mind not to inhale the airfreshners because they are harmful also.
