When I was in elementary school, I use to experience this all the time...Just under my jaw, it would start burning and itching. Then I start coughing really badly and have trouble breathing. It went away for a long time. But I just came back from walking, and I am having those same symptoms again. (I am 24 years old now)I haven't been active in awhile, but I did walk 2 days ago the same route and I was completely fine. What is going on? Should I get this checked out?

I forgot to add that this only happens after I walk or run.

sounds like an allergy and it could become worse. You should see a doctor asap, and in the meantime, carry an antihistamine (like benedryl) with you in case you have a sudden and severe attack.

Yes, its always good to see a Dr about breathing trouble. It could some allergen that your around really affects you when you walk or run. But see a Dr and see if your not getting some asthma related to allergens

Tell the doctor your history and what is going on now. I would get on this right away.
