Condoms HELP prevent the spread of STDs, but they are never truly 100% effective, especially with STDs that can be spread by DIRECT skin to skin contact like herpes and HPV. Condoms ONLY cover the man's penis and not his entire genital area. So, even just the rubbing back and forth of the genital areas during sex or foreplay is enough to spread either one of these STDs.

If you are concerned you have genital warts (caused by HPV) or any other STD then get checked out by a doctor. Better to be safe than sorry! Good luck!

The veneral warts that I've seen in the past spread like crazy. They do not go away. It just might be a pimple. We can get blocked pores there too. Was it sore at all. Can just watch it. Might not ever come back again.
