That which I've had in country was ...mostly quite good:
it all depended on the quality of the ingredients.
Some was really great - remember that the French were
there for quite a while, and that French cooking ain't all bad.
Some was..........really not good- again due to lack of any good ingredients.
In the US the Vietnamese food is generally first-rate.

I love it. Vietnamese cuisine is one of the best. The food is low fat but yet full of flavor. What make Vietnamese food so amazingly good is that it has lots of influences from Chinese and French cuisines. There are lots of stir fried dishes as well as soup and crepe dishes that are influenced by French Cuisine.
