Perhaps just separate out some for your daughter and do hers with a bit of milder bbq type sauce? Emeril's is great.

#1 Diced tomotoes with Italian flavor
#2 Keptup mixed with a little lemon helps!.

We had some salsa that was a bit to HOT for my taste and I added just a little ketchup .. Just enough until it takes the bite out .
