Kudos! 2 months is quite an achievement. It's easy going from there; I've been clear for almost 3 years now.
Vegetarians don't eat meat, which can vary in definition according to why you are a vegetarian. For health and dieting reasons, fish is included in that diet. For animal rights reasons, all meat from any living thing is excluded. Vegans, however, don't eat anything from animals, and that includes cheese, eggs, or basically any dairy product.
Be sure to check the label on cheeses and things (especially if they contain gluten or gelatin). Research your facts to get quick on some of the words used on labels. Land O Lakes is definately vegetarian. Usually for one brand, you can trust all their products to be vegetarian.
Milk/eggs/cheeses are a main source of protein as an alternative to meat. Tofu is an acquired taste, but it's great in stir-fry and has a lot of protein. Be sure to complete your whole proteins because amino acids are worthless without their counterparts. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, try some research on vegetarianism. Just remember that an average adult needs 60-75 grams of protein PER DAY. that's quite a lot.
Try ordering the Vegetarian Times. It's a magazine with great recipes, tips, and products to help you stay organic and meat free.
Good luck, hope I helped,
Elaina

Ya, you can still be a vegetarian. There are 3 types vegetarians: vegans, lacto-vegetarians and lacto-ovo-vegetarians.
Vegans are vegetarians who only eat vegetables and do not eat meat, dairy products and eggs.
Lacto-vegetarians eat milk/dairy products but not eggs.
Lacto-ovo-vegetarians eat dairy/milk products, including eggs and cheese.
If you are just a vegetarian or do not fall into any of these types, you can eat dairy products, including milk, cheese and eggs.

Yes. Make sure the cheese is vegetarian cheese (does not contain rennet) and that the eggs are obtained from free-range chickens. As for milk, it's difficult because it involves forcibly removing calves from their mothers, but technically, no animal is killed for milk, and it does not contain any slaughter by-products, so milk should be fine for most vegetarians.

Yes and if you eat chicken you can be a "Pollo-Vegetarian" and if you eat fish you are called a "Pesco-Vegetarian" and these are recognized as being vegetarian in other cultures that are vegetarian as well as they recognize lacto-ovo vegetarians which you are.
Congreatulatons I'm a Pollo-lacto-ovo-pesco-meato-vegetarian and I've been one all my life. We are now called flexarian vegetarians and we are the largest group of vegetarians in the world. Maybe some day if you try hard enough, you can be a flexarian-vegetarian too.

A vegetarian does not eat meat, but they may still eat other animal products such as milk, cheese, and eggs.
A vegan abstains from meat and also from all other animal products. So, a vegan does not eat meat, milk, cheese, eggs, or any other animal products.

Yes because they are not the actual animal and those products do not have faces. That is what we go by.
