Dispite what is said here I was told that when my sugar is high to drink some water and go for a walk to bring my sugar level down. Better to find out sooner if you have diabetes. It's progressive and you want to get it under control asap. Your life depends on it.

You might urinate out a bit of sugar; however, when they're doing a glucose tolerance test, they'll also be doing a urine test each time they draw blood, so if the sugar is there, they'll find it. If you are "spilling" sugar before they draw any blood, you'll be assumed to be diabetic immediately, as any sugar in the urine is abnormal.
Good luck!

There will be a considerable increase in your blood sugar. If you're going to take the FBS, then it's not recommended to take anything before the test.

Nothing.
Water doesn't affect your blood glucose level.
Eating food does.
