I guess I should have mentioned that I am a marathon runner and triathlete. I didn't measure it myself, a nurse did.

In addition, I practice martial arts (wushu) several times a week - I am surprisingly tough for my rather small size. This is quite relaxing, and I can even feel my heart rate slow while stretching.

Blood pressure can be too low and so I suppose heart rate can be too, but to be honest I wouldn't know what is too low.
I do know that cholesterol can be too low, with 130 seeming to be the mark.

Due to the role cholesterol plays in hormone production, this is probably causal, but the real problem will be whatever causes the low cholesterol to start with.

Low cholesterol is also associated with cancer.

Given that cholesterol seems to act as an antioxident, this too may be causal, but nobody can be sure. The association is there but it realy is a case of the chicken and the egg.
Firt point of call for low cholesterol would be to get your liver function tested by a doctor who understands that low cholesterol can indicate a problem.

The variations are within the normal range. Variations in salt intake and mineral intake can cause these changes. Please note that even if you took your blood pressure one after another the two blood pressures will be different. People who are exceptionally healthy have low heart rates. My advice: If you are asymptomatic stop worrying about these numbers.

Your blood pressure is fine, but unless you are a tremendous athlete, your heartrate is too slow.

An average adult heart rate is 60-100 beats per minute. An athlete in excellent condition can have a heart rate as low as 50 bpm.

The question is how in shape are you? Are you a serious athlete? And are you measuring your heart rate correctly?

Your heart rate, total cholesterol, and blood pressure are excellent. You're doing SOMETHING right! :-)

Healthier people tend to have slower heart rates, since their heart is stronger. Don't worry. It's good. All those are good.
