You can only PREVENT FOOD FROM SPOILING....You can not worry about it after you throw it away in good condition.
Science has proved that you must also taste it to see if it needs to go in the refigerator or in the garbage truck for analysis?Asuggestion from a dear friend says you can spoil it very easy by stomping on it.....or eat it right out the garden.
I hope thishelps determine what you are looking for...

Twinkies. I am not kidding. They last for years. Umm... and canned food doesn't last more than a couple years, but it does eventually spoil. Cereal and oatmeal gets those little bugs in it after a long time. Hm. Good question.

I would say honey. It stays good a long time. When it crystallizes just put it in the microwave for as very very short amount of time and it will be liquid again. It will good bad eventually. Persereves also last a long time

those Marshmallow Peeps!!!! - they may go stale, a little hard, BUT THEY NEVER EVER SPOIL!!! they never grow mold, or get a weird stench. Weird little things. As a matter of fact, they do all kinds of research on them. Heres a link: http://www.peepresearch.org/ Have fun!

the kind in a can....well,for a while anyways :)
And even though it's not a food but a spice...peppercorns stay good for years. They dug up temples and found peppercorns and ground them-they were still good.
