since splendais made from sugar, will it be harmful fora diabetic to use it?

Splenda is perfectly safe and is the best sugar alternative out there.

Just a word of caution, newer studies have come out leading to believe Splenda is not the diabetic answer everyone at first believed. Tests have shown that even sugar substitutes such as Splenda may cause the rise in blood insulin, the spike, that sugar avoidance is supposed to prevent. But the tests are not conclusive, and if you have to make a choice, I'd go for the Splenda every time.

Some do some don't. Some will and some won't. I've tried it and it raises my blood sugar as much as regular sugar. Some people can use it just fine and I am very jealous. I use Sugar Twin which doesn't taste as good, especially if you get too much, but it works for me.

common misconception: Splenda is made with sugar, not from sugar. Sugar is used in the processing of the final product but is not retained by it. So to answer your question, yes it is fine.
