I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I am a diabetic and my doctor says blueberries are the best. She suggests eating small amounts of blueberries throughout the day, whenever you are craving something sweet. Citrus fruits are very high in sugar and raise the sugar level too quickly, which is why when the blood sugar goes too low, the first thing most diabetics grab is a glass of orange juice. Instead, I take 2 baskets of blueberries, add a basket of raspberries, a basket of blackberries and a small basket of strawberries (cut up the strawberries into small pieces), then add about one half cup of light juice (low sugar juice- 15 calories per serving), mix together and put in the fridge- That way I have enough for the week- My blood sugar is stable and my A1C stays at 5.5 or 6.0, which is pretty good.

Non acid fruits. Stay away from oranges and grapefruits. Oranges will raise blood sugar. Grapefruit can interact with or potentiate any medications you might be taking and that is really not a good thing to have happen. Most other fruits and berries are good in moderation. Juices are not as desirable as whole fruit because the sugars in juices enter the blood system a lot faster.

My mom is a diabetic and finding out what you can and can't eat is hard.

You may take fruits like apple, Grapefruit, Lime, Peaches. You must divide your fruit and vegetable diet in five portions through all the day, by Spreading the fruit you eat through the day helps to avoid a sudden rise in blood sugar levels.

All fruits are good, it's how you eat them. Do you eat fruits just for breakfast, no, because that will definately up your Glucose. But you learn the values of fruit, their sugar and carb content. If you are having say for breakfast some whole grain cereal, with a half of cup of strawberries and something that is protein, then you should do okay as long as you check your Glucose. It's all about balancing proteins, staying away from simple carbs as much as possible, eating complex carbs, lots of veges and getting good quality high protein foods. Staying away from Caffiene can help as well, but few will give it up totally, I'm one of them.

I do not eat things like oranges, because for me they up my glucose no manner what else I eat. I tend to stay with berries in small quantaties, banana's, melons. I always make sure if I'm going to eat fruit, I have a complex protein to balance it out with.

I'm not a good diabetic, but I will tell you each person learns over time which foods cause them the most problems. Mine were pastas. If I want Spaghetti, I've got to make a homemade sauce with lots of meet in it. If I just eat pasta, my Glucose goes up rapidly then decreases just as rapidly, bottoming me out with the sweats, shakes and slurred speach.

Learn to find for between meals a healthy small snack, like a tiny hand full of nuts like Pecans, Walnuts, Almonds as they have both a complex protein in them and a complex carb. If you love fruits, try them as your between the meal snack, eating them with a spoonful of peanut butter, or a handful of nuts. Or my favorite, beef jerky.

It's all about learning what works for you and why. What works for one person doesn't work for the next.

Take care of your body and since most doctors forget to tell new diabetics this, all diabetics poorly absorb the B-vitamins, so taking a supplimental B-vitamin is a must, find one low in Niacin, especailly if you have problems with your heart. But the B-vitamins are a must, eat as much fruit and veges as you can with them in it. Neuropathy a common problem for diabetis, a nerve disease that burns and hurts like He**, is connected with low B-vitamines, so the sheath around the nerves ends up destroyed. Also the more stable you keep your Glucose, the less you have ups and downs the better on your nerves as well. I wish someone had told me this back before I had Neuropathy, when I could have slowed its development down or maybe even prevented it all together. So I try to share it with every diabetic I meat on the internet or in person. B-Vitamin suppliment, a must.

Take care!

The best fruit would be blueberries. Blueberries are low and sugar and have tremendous health benefits. They are one of the richest sources of antioxidants of the fruits and vegetables that have been studied. Antioxidants are responsible in part for keeping us healthily and young. They help fight cell damaging "free radicals". Free radicals are unstable substances that our bodies produce as we get older. They damage human cells and our DNA. US scientists have shown that the antioxidants contained in Blueberries help to slow th ageing process and reduce the risk of cancer.
Blueberries have also shown to not only halt the ageing process but actually reverse it ! Experiments have also indicated that eating Blueberries improves short term memory loss and improves balance and co-ordination.
