So, you admit that you don't think it's right, but you do it anyway? Way to live your principles, dude.

I have a newly diagnosed heart condition and the cardiologist doesnt not want me to go vege. The dietitian says to comprise and only eat fish and chicken. I m in a real pickle as to what to do.

You think its wrong but do it anyway

what you are actually saying is that you lack any sense of responsiblility

No different to any other 12 year old troll

did you read the answers to your other question yet ? Hopefully you will at least learn what a carnivore is this year -that seems to be about all we can hope for.

I understand what you are saying. I feel the just about the same way. I tried to be vegetarian, and then tried to just cut back on red meats and such. I think it is t is very difficult for certain body types to go completely meat free. I find it very difficult, and pretty much have given up the idea that I can be meat free. Maybe I can work my way up to it again someday, but not likely.

did you know that statistics say that only one vegetarian saves about 90-100 animals per year? so if you were a vegetarian, you'd really be making a difference. :) if less people buy meat there is less of a demand for it, therefore less animals get slaughtered.

think about it, say you had chicken breast for dinner or lunch almost every day--so maybe like 200 days in a year..chickens can only have one breast..so that's 200 chickens that you're not eating.

if you do feel bad, you should do something about it. you CAN make a difference.

i don't think it's right for people to kill animals and eat them (among various other reasons) anymore, so i became a vegetarian and eventually a vegan.

to the previous answerer who questioned if it was natural for a vegan to take nutritional supplements, it isn't necessary. vegans can be very healthy without any supplements. besides, vegans aren't the only ones taking vitamins, right? last time i checked, omnivores buy multivitamins, too.

if you think its mean, that shows that you have somewhat of a conscience, but not enough morals to refrain. that just doesnt really make sense to me. when i just think about eating meat i get really sad and feel guilty because i ate meat before i begame vegetarian.

Yes I do, although when ever I happen to see the inhuman way some of these animals are treated, it makes me sad and don't feel like eating meat any more, but that wouldn't stop the killing of these animals. It's really very.very sad.

Two words. Food chain. This is the natural order of things. Would there be as much slaughter if we ate less meat ? Maybe. The animals would not get bred in the first place. i am very sure that cows, chickens, pigs and sheep are not in any danger of being extinct.
In being Vegan do you not have to take vitamin and nutritional supplements. Is that Natural?

No. I eat meat and I know it's perfectly right and natural to kill animals and eat them.

Yes I do. I am a 'borderline' vegetarian. I've been a vegan, too. I am now convinced that humans are carnivores, just like other animals. Is it right that other animals eat each other? It is a fact of life.
