Some of the classic 90's songs from the boybands, spicegirls and so on are great for kids. For older people songs from the 60's, 70's and 80's bring a blast from the past. Make sure you pick upbeat disco ones that you can belt out and dance to. Queen, Beegees, Cher, ABBA and Greese are good ones
