Do you mean pasta with nothing on it???
As much as I like cheese, if pasta has something on it then I would choose pasta.
By the way, have you tried the Pasta-Roni boxed dinners. They can be cooked in the microwave or on top of the stove. Very good, my favorite is Garlic and Oil.

Oh your question is vary vague. In terms of seperate taste: cheese. (I'd rather sneak a slice of cheese rather than a piece of pasta any day.) In terms of nutrition, it probably depends on the type of cheese or pasta. Plain whole wheat pasta: probably better for you to eat than cheese.

they both are good!!!!! pasta with olive oil and parmesan is the best. you cant decide that there are too many great foods that include cheese and pasta. this is too much of a philosophical question!!!! my world has just been rocked. as a carb addict i say stop the madness and go to an italian restaurant, order a lasagna and relax;)

Pasta because you can get whole grain or multi grain pasta. Cheese is hard to find fat free and its either does not taste right or is processed if you do.

You 2 need to get out more often!
Pasta on its own is bland & all tastes the same.
Cheese has 1000's of different varieties & flavours.
Hang on... I might try serving pasta & biscuits @ my next dinner party.
Certainly a way of getting them to go home early.

Cheese. It goes with everything. Think of how many dishes are made with cheese (enchiladas, nachos, pizza, lasagna, cheese burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, etc). Pasta is all fine and good but it doesn't go with everything like cheese does. Cheese is even better by itself. Have you ever eaten a plate of pasta with no sauce?

Cheese tastes better (unless you put cheese on your pasta). It has more nutrients but also more fat and sodium. Pasta is OK except that it can increase your triglycerides if you over-do it in your diet.
