When someone is struggling to feed their family, Not encroaching on critical habitat for and endangered species is not one of their highest priorities. Conservation education must emphasize how they can take better care of their families by protecting the endangered species. A good example of this is the tourist business that protection of the great ape is generating, thus enabling the locals to live better when the apes are not harmed.

High demand and low supply is generating inefficient flow sheets resulting in conversion of natural resources into low value addition products per unit mass. Implies high waste generation per unit mass of natural resources. This defeats the conservation efforts of natural resources.

Water. They must dig, sometines deep to find a vein of water. Then, the transport of it, if they live far away, and its conservation. The same goes for food.
