I love seafood, and during the past year I have been trying new kinds of fish. I personally like fish better. I love tuna steaks (my boyfriend is making sesame ginger steaks as I type this :D ) and I love it in sushi and japanese cooking. I recently tried catfish for the first time, and always enjoy a nice salmon steak. My family used to eat a lot of flounder but has switched to tilapia. I am not really into frozen fried fish like fish sticks, but fresh steaks of fish.

Chicken is okay, but to me it doesn't have much flavor and depends too much on condiments and lots of other ingredients added to it.

Sure, chicken is less expensive and is found in more dishes, but over all nothing beats a fresh fish dinner!

I'd rather eat fish but end up eating chicken more invariably. Fish dishes are more difficult to cook so I only have it at Chinese restaurants - "steaming" being the best way (the only way to determine the freshness). Frozen fish or less than sea-fresh fishes are better for deep frying, grill to mask the 'fishy smell'. Why would I want stale fish?

[say this out loud repeatedly whenever ordering fish: "fresh fish flesh"]

I like both. But I eat more fish (3-4x a week) than chicken. There are many kinds of fish and they taste diferent, so I don't get tired of fish.

I love fish! I'm from South Louisiana so we eat it A LOT. It's just as healthy for you as chicken plus you don't have to add much to fish to make it taste good. I find with chicken, you have to add all sorts of things to make it taste. Tuna steaks are my favorite, along with flounder, tilapia, red fish and salmon.

I like both. But I will choose chicken because we can cook it many different ways. We can eat it everyday and not get tired of it.

Fish always taste like fish no matter how you cook it.

Chicken - to me it is more versatile to use in a variety of dishes. Just about any nation's cuisine uses chicken. It goes well with a variety of herbs and spices and cooking techniques.

Plus, I don't like fish too much --- good thing I live inland

I love fish, especially the way that Thai cooking prepares it!
Don't get me wrong, chicken's alright, but I just don't think the two compare.
