I live in Illinois, and I work for the UI, but im not sure if I can add my grandmother on my insurance...So Im trying to find somewhere that will take senior citizens, but something i can afford..

Life insurance becomes prohibitly expensive for a person at the age of 81. The chances that a person will die in the policy life is high.
All seniors have health insurance provided by the government. No private non-medicare related policy is offered to people over 65.

Coverage is available, but you need to compare what you will get vs. the cost as it will be expensive at this age.

You have to look at permanent insurance as term insurance is not available at this age. a $25,000 policy may cost you $1500 or more per year for a lifetime guarantee depending on her health, state you are in, etc....
