If a diabetic eats a large amount of sugar then the will experience a high blood sugar, meaning they will need to take extra insulin or some other medication to lower it. If they do not treat for the high blood sugar then it will continue to rise and they will become sick and eventually wind up in the hospital. Letting blood sugars run high is what will cause complications later in a diabetics life, such as blindness/poor eyesight, possibly amputation.

pretty much everything the other two said, but a diabetic can also go into a diabetic coma. they'll get very thirsty and start peeing and sweating a lot. maybe even vomiting because their body will try to get rid of the sugar any way it can. they can also start urinating keytones, which is known as acidosis, because their kidneys cannnot handle all the excess sugar. obviously, this can cause kidney damage.

The curse of modern days. Too much sugar will bring on diabetic shock and complications later like bad circulation, shooting pains in leg and foot and internal suffering. Best to read labels and not settle for sugar in your diet. Help the body with herbal sugar control uses, get them at the health stores.
