The wheat industry kills millions of animals a year, should we all boycott wheat as well?

Well in order to prep land for crops, that land has to be completely formatted, thus millions of rabbits, ferrets, squirrels, and countless insects are killed.

Wheat Farms are not purposely killing any animals. Animals are allowed to freely roam the fields near and around and sometimes even on.

The people who are killing the rabbits and what not are the city dwellers!

There is no room for the rabbits to roam in the city, so the rabbits typically end up invading places where people live, like back yards. As a result, people just end up shooting them.

Yes, well, the meat industry kills 10 BILLION animals a year in the U.S. alone. I'm pretty sure the wheat industry doesn't even come close to that. And 70 percent of the grain raised in this country goes to feed animals who become your food, so if more people become veg*an, that will be fewer animals killed--not just the animals people eat, but the animals killed in the harvesting of wheat.

Now, run along, little troll.

Being it takes more crop land to feed someone if they eat meat than if they eat wheat, because we will need less farm land. It is a lot more efficient (in term of feeding people) for people to eat wheat, then for the cows to eat the wheat and the people to eat the cows.

No. The meat industry kills more animals. We have already over farmed almost 40% of farmable land in the world. The way it is going now it will not last. People are ignorant and it will come back on us all! Educate and enlighten people is all I can say. Do all that you can and you won't have to hold yourself accountable for the extinction of yet another species, humans.
