Splenda works very well for me. It comes in generic also.

You can use sugar substitutes but be careful. Split sugars do not work for every diabetic. If you use a split sugar like Splenda and some others you should test yourself to see if it makes your blood sugar go up too high. Sugar Twin and other substitutes won't raise your sugars but they don't taste as good as the split sugars. Manitol is an alcohol based sweetener that tastes very good but can give you diarrhea (green apple 2 step) if you eat very much of it. It is often used in sugar free candy.

Splendor is closest to real sugar, or Equal and sweeten low, the last two leaves an after taste, that may not bother you though.
