I want an explanation of why a medication can be diluted so that no molecule remains, yet be considered the most potent.

You mean the farce that would kill any one with diabetes!?!

The basic idea of Homoepathy is to give the medication to a patient then to give them increasingly more diluted versions of the same medication until they are finally only getting water. Then the "spirit" of the medication is all that helps them. It is supposed to "imprint" itself on water, talk about a silly idea!

That kind of stupid idea is insane and just asking for a way to slowly kill someone.

According to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homoeopathy
"A controversial form of alternative medicine that aims to treat "like with like". Substances that cause symptoms similar to the disease in large quantities are heavily diluted, with shaking at each stage of the dilution. Homeopaths contend that the shaking causes some imprint (or memory) of the diluted substance, despite the fact that at many common homeopathic dilutions, no molecules of the original substance are likely to remain."
