A superspy/007 theme sounds fun, but that was kind of a a 2007 thing, even though we didn't do it. Is a superhero theme not classy enough? What do you think? Thanks!

Some ideas to consider:

1) Garden party theme (classy mock-cocktails, beautiful flowers, girls dress up really nicely, boys in suits, a great band, outdoors, white chairs, great classic food, water features...)

2) Masquerade party theme (elaborate costumes, masks, luxurious buffet, rich jewel tones decor...)

3) Glow in the dark theme (paint some decor in glow-in-the-dark paint, using highlighters to write the menu on a piece of paper [it'll glow], using blacklights, getting glow-in-the-dark streamers, encouring people to wear light-coloured clothing...)

Have fun!

Do an 'Under The Sea' theme.
Hang twisted crepe paper in various shade of blue and green from the ceiling to represent water.
Hang all sorts of paper fish, blow up fish, and other sea creatures from the ceiling.
Have prom pictures taken in a giant clam shell.
Have live 'mermaid' serving punch and other snacks.

I think there should be a beach sort of theme. Palm trees, beach balls, that kind of stuff. Or maybe a jungle theme too! There's so many choises! Maybe even a 70's thing!

Ask the people coming to this particular prom to submit ideas...not Yahoo answers.
