You should either go to an emergency room or get in to see your doctor ASAP. It could be any thing from heart related or you could be having anxiety attacks. You should DEFINITELY go to the ER if you experience any of the following with the chest pain:
shortness of breath
chest pressure/tightness
sweating
nausea
vomiting
radiating pain (pain in the shoulders/arms/jaw or back)

Better to be safe than sorry!

Go get an exam. If you feel like something is wrong, then go check it out. Pain exists so that you can communicate with yourself. Your heart can not be painful, but it will cause "referred" pain in your chest, left shoulder, and left arm. Mild heart attacks feel like indigestion. Here is the bad news. Many times, the first sympton of a heart attack is death, and the younger you are, the less likely you are to survive...if it is a heart attack. Go now.

It must have effected your lungs first followed by toxic fumes to the heart, resulting in pain i chest, but since it respiratory and postural dependent it can be muscular or broken rib.
Report immediately to a hospital to reach a conclusive diagnosis and treatment.

Next time it happens dial 911 get them to hook you up on their analyzer. Then make an appointment with your Doctor for tests. Maybe you'll get lucky and find it was only some air bubbles. May be not. I would look into it if I were you.

You definately should go to your local emergency room, with symptoms like those, even if they are transient, and intermittent.
