hamos - If you mean redo coronary artery bypass surgery, it just means that a person is getting coronary artery bypass surgery after having had one before. Sometimes it is necessary to repeat the surgery if the previous grafts have closed off or arteries that were not previously bypassed become diseased down the road. Hope that helps!

In redo it's the SAME PROCEDURE with the SAME ARTERY repeated, in order to make it more effective to supply blood.
For e.g Redo TURP (prostate).
