For the past 2 days i have had really intense pain in my left side of my chest, it feels like it's my heart muscle but i do not know if it is my heart or if it is chest pain. It hurts quite badly if i take a deep breath in but even lying on my left side makes it more painful.
I have a heart murmur caused by a mitral valve prolapse, it has not bothered me so far apart from irregular heartbeat and slight palpitations in the last few weeks. I also have mild asthma and am 25 weeks pregnant. I have no way of getting to my GP in the next few days and just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what might be causing it? Should i worry?

You know your heart is actually in the middle of your body so don't worry too much. However, I think you should ring the local hospital and describe your symptoms just to be sure. They will tell you if you need to come in and what it could be. And congratulations on pregnancy! :D good luck!
