First of all, it's spelled v-e-g-e-t-a-r-i-a-n. Second of all, it's vegans who are concerned with animal products in nonfood items. Third of all, there are numerous soaps out there not made with animal fat or any animal ingredients. So, yes, we wash our hands, and the rest of our bodies, with soaps not made from animal products.
Sheesh, what a silly question.

Vegetarians don't wash their kids' mouths out with soap, though.
PS: Not all soap is made with animal fat.

lol (your question is very silly).
to my knowledge most vegetarians only care if they actually consume meat. and they don't care about eating or using other animal by-products. one reason why there is such a huge difference between veganism and vegetarianism.
sorry if my statement offends any vegetarians but hey, it's the truth.
but to answer your question I'm a vegan and yes I do wash my hands.
there is soap that isn't deprived from animals, ya know.

1. It's spelled "Vegetarian."
2. Vegetarians simply don't eat animal meat, it's the vegans who refrain from eating or using any animal products.
3. Not all soaps are used from animal fat.

I do... I just make it a habit to either: (1) not eat soap... or (2) not use soap made from animals... either way... it works for me.

You can get soap that isn't. It's not hard to find. I have a pharmacy nearby that sells lots of vegan friendly all natural soaps, shampoos and cosmetics.
