Ok, Ever Since I Was Younger My Brother Has Always Been Overprotective of Me. At First I Thought It Was Cute Because I Was His Little Sister And He Didn't Want Me Getting Involved With The Wrong Guys. But Now, I'm 18 And It's Still A Problem.

It's Really Starting To Get Annoying Now And I Can't Take It Anymore... I Just Want To Live My Life Just Like He's Living His. I'm Still A Virgin And I Just Got My First Boyfriend A Little Before I Turned 18... And I Think That's Pretty Good Considering Alot of Girls Are Getting Pregnant, Already Have Kids, Or Are Just Extremely Promiscuous.

What Should I Do?

If you want your brother to treat you older than you have to act older. Go to him as an adult and have a conversation and tell him how you feel. Remember he loves you and wants the best for you. You just got your first boyfriend, and you will need him to help you through some of the ordeals you are going to face. After all he is a male and knows how their minds work. He knows what some one them will try and do, so just remember that.

this boy as been through a lot, you need to talk to him about these issues. he is now a grown man, he needs to get out in the world and make a place for himself. let him know that you'll be there for him when he needs help, but it's his responsibility to take care of himself and get a job. i wouldn't suggest yelling at him, and telling him he's an ungrateful brat. But i would help him find a job, and then help him find an apartment. he's too old to be taking out your trash.

Hes your brother he will always be over protected, because you are his little sister. Maybe sooner or later he might realize that he should back off. Tell you one thing good you have a brother like that. I hardly did and we barley communicate anymore. Hes 19 and I'm 16.

Well, since you're now 18, you can do what you want. But if it really bothers you that much, talk to him. Make him understand that as much as you love him, and thank him for being protective of you, you don't appreciate it when he does it too much.
Talk, talk, talk. That's the best advice I can give you. Good luck.

tell him you like him to be there for you but need space, everyone needs different people, characteristics are rubbed off on you when you meet people even if you dont know them. boyfriends are fun are needed to, sometimes to experiment or just good friends. your brother needs to realise that he can't control you and you have different needs and feelings. you need to explain to him that he needs to get out more and meet people too. maybe he's controling or he's been bullied in the past. and he might have a problem dealing with feelings and his past whatever it is find out and tell him you don't need his security. Sometimes doing daft things don't help.
