A girlfriend of mine got her teeth whitened at the dentist. They come up AMAZING!
Rather than spending money on various toothpastes, invest and improve your smile with a professional clean and whiten.

Here are many ways that you can whitening your teeth!
For home remedies.
Mix baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to form toothpaste. Brush the teeth regularly with this paste. It will remove all stains in a month.
Use bicarbonate of soda 5 minutes before brushing the teeth with normal toothpaste in the morning. This is a good home remedy for teeth whitening.
Rubbing the bark of walnut tree on the teeth helps in removing all stains from the teeth.
Strawberries are considered natural teeth whiteners. Rubbing the teeth with strawberries daily will remove all the stains.
If you would like a suggestion on tooth whitening gel, here's something for you!
Crest Night Effects Whitening Gel (about $18.00) allows you to remove stains while you sleep. The tooth whitening system has a fresh, wintergreen flavor. After fourteen days of sleeping with this product on your teeth, you will wake up to a vibrant smile. You should see results in two days, although there are reports of tooth whitening results in one night

First of all....forget that notion about a water pik being better than brushing. That's NOT true. A water pik only removes debris that is loose, not the plaque that's stuck on to the teeth and harbors the bacteria that cause cavities. Now on to your problem. White strips work but only on the front 6 teeth. There are NO toothpastes that will lighten teeth! They only remove surface stains despite their claims [toothpaste is considered cosmetic and as such, has no regulation so they can claim anything]. If the strips didn't work you either didn't do it right or have some kind of resistant enamel [and no, the lightening doesn't remove a layer of enamel despite the beautician claims]. Your best bet is to see your dentist. He/she can sell you either a more powerful box of Crest white strips or do a custom tray and stronger lightening material [your best bet].

Well I use Crest Vivid White, one for day and one for night. I also suggest buying an electric tooth brush, this will help keep your teeth white naturally.
Was this the first time you used the whiting strips? Sometimes it takes a few times before you get them the white you want then you use them in another 6 months to maintain that shade.

None of the whitening toothpaste is going to get your teeth as white as you will want them. You should go see your dentist and have them make you some whitening trays. The solution that they will give you is alot stronger than anything you will get over the counter. This solution will make your teeth movie star white and you will love the outcome. This is what I use and I would recommend it to everyone that wants there teeth really white. Good Luck with whatever you decide to use.

Try a home remedy.
Mash up a strawberry and add some baking soda so then it makes a paste. Then brush it onto your teeth.
Or
Mix together peroxide and baking soda to make a paste and rub onto teeth (careful not to put on your gums). Leave on no more than 30 minutes.
After doing any of these remedies you should brush your teeth with your regular toothpaste.

my girl friend is a beautishon. wow how do you spell that? any way she said those white strips . take off a layer of your teeth. and its not good for them. my neighbor has really really white teeth. and she uses the crest white strips. but then she is only about 16 years old. you can try hydrigen peroxide. and you can try baking soda. but you can only use baking soda not too often because it is not good for your teeth. PS. my dental hygenist told me it is more importent to use a waterpik. than it is to brush. it won't stop decay. but it helps your gums. and so it helps you never to have to get teeth pulled.
